Halloween in Utah

The following pictures were taken in Utah. Grandpa even gets more trick or treaters than we get in Colorado. Paul's garage is done and really fits in with the style of his home. Can you believe that Cameron and Zachary showed up wearing the same Bronco shirt?
Halloween at Grandpa Klemm's

Natalie looked stunning with blue wig and blue fingernails!

Paul even embroidered his jacket with DJ Paul and Musicologist. His shirt flashed colors with the beat of his music! He wore it to a Halloween Party where he was the DJ.

The garage is oversized and even finished nicely inside.

Cameron and Zachary are big Bronco fans, as you can tell. The kids made Grandpa very pleased when they raked his leaves in the backyard!

grandpa sick

Grandpa got very sick the middle of October and was here in the hospital. You can see how tired and stressed he was with the intense pain he was induring. Teeny and I stayed through a night at the hospital.
Grandpa is continuing to recover at his home and seems to get a little stronger each day. He surely enjoyed the company and thoughtfulness of his family, neighbors and ward leaders.

George fishing

George was pretty proud of this fish caught in the
Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

sewing with Michelle

Michelle finished Madeline's cute outfit while she was visiting and we worked on baby burp coths and she finished the top of her beautiful quilt. She also set up this blog site and helped me organize photos on the computer. I'm just hoping I can remember how to do it all! We are having our own meltdown because we miss them already!

Backyard gardens

We had wonderful sweet tomatoes and yummy squash which we ate every day during August and September. We are now covering them because of the cold temperatures at night so we can save them for a few more weeks.

Crafting

We've been busy this summer - Jeri is making quilts and George is working in his woodshop.

This is a Civil War quilt using reproduction fabrics.George is becoming a pen handcrafting expert!

Some of our Favorite Grandkids

This week our FAVORITE grandchildren came to visit (Guess who is creating and writing this Blog????), the Fowers! What a treat for them to come from Texas and destroy our house for 5 days. Yes, blood AND poop on the carpet, not to mention that Jackson discovered a flood in the basement and we had to pull up the carpet and use the wet-vac and fans. The 20 year old carpet may just have to be replaced. Clark and his family came down for a day, too and Clark was put to work getting out the water. The visit was really fun despite the flood. We went to Build-a-Bear for Madeline's 2nd birthday, Jackson built several crafts in the workshop with Grandpa, we went Bowling with everyone, and we stayed up late sewing and organizing photos. Will they ever leave and let us have our peace?
